| This restaurant offers a truly relaxing environment and a peaceful oasis far from the chaos of the city thanks to the small waterfalls in the patio, the soft wall lighting that changes colour during the meal, and the carefully chosen plants and flowers.
Riflessi is all this and more and the original atmosphere certainly makes it well worth spending an evening there. The restaurant serves a creative cuisine as well as traditional Tuscan platters. The selected local products are all of the best quality, while the cooking is based on the seasons, with frequent menu changes.
Some of the chef’s most interesting creations include: Bresaola cones stuffed with herb-flavoured goat’s cheese on wild salad, flans with sliced onions and chicken livers in truffle-flavoured oil, Parmesan-flavoured scallops with aubergines and an emulsion of basil. First courses range from a baby asparagus and cream risotto with Taleggio cheese, lobster soup or white barley with herb-flavoured bread croutons, handmade Tagliolini with carbonara (eggs) sauce made with cubes of smoked tuna fish. Other specialities include veal roulades stuffed with melted cheese or spring asparagus, grilled scampi and squid with pureed broad beans and crispy artichokes, or foil-baked fillet of bream and shellfish with baby Pachino tomatoes and capers. End the best of meals with coconut cake with candied rum banana and creamy ice-cream or a Mini Neapolitan tart made of spelt and candied oranges on lemon cream.
