Maracaną Grill

Maracaną Grill Located only a few steps from Piazza Santo Spirito, in the heart of Florence, is a Brazilian churrascaria known as the Maracaną Grill. Subsiding in a popular neighborhood, rich in history, this restaurant is a delectable spot. The colors and the atmosphere resemble that of the most typical Inns of Salvador de Bahia and Rio de Janiero. The cuisine and service of Maracaną Grill derives precisely from the ancient traditions of Carioca, where the cooks and waiters work as a team to better the experience for the diner. To start off, the menu offers a rich buffet comprised of hot and cold starters as well as salad. Besides the buffet you can taste traditional Brazilian dishes such as Risoles, Cochina de pollo, Bolinha de arroz, Pao de queijo, Salada de Grao de Bico, salada mista, Salpicao, Pan di bolignas and many more. Moving on to a signature dish at the Maracaną Grill, the churrasco, this plate consists of a selection of more than 6 meats roasted on the grill and served at the table directly by spit. The meats include chicken, sausage, rosticciane, several types of picanha beef and grilled pineapple, all accompanied by white Basmati rice, with Brazilian black beans and salad. Among these dishes, there are several others that stand out such as the “Prawns of Bobo with white rice” the “Moqueca di Pesce con Farofa di Dende e riso”, “Strogonoffe chicken with potatoes and white rice”, and other specialities with various meats and fish, traditional to cuisine Brazilian. You can also choose to pay a fixed price of 26 euros, which includes a drink, a great alternative to sample the wide variety of authentic Brazilian dishes that the Maracaną Grill has to offer.
