| A splendid restaurant with a unique view of the Ponte Vecchio and the Arno. The restaurant is composed of three rooms, all offering the same menu, which ranges from the typical Tuscan platters to the lighter and flavoursome Mediterranean cuisine, where fresh fish reigns supreme. The wonderful pizzas, as well as the excellent selection of cheeses are perfect for those preferring a simpler meal. Golden View follows a slow food philosophy, in other words relaxed dining, because the food is cooked slowly on the spot and nothing like the usual tourist fastfood formulas.

A permanent display of paintings by European artists connected with Florence completes the atmosphere. A prestigious wine list, with some of the finest vintages from Tuscany and elsewhere, plus fine liqueurs, can be found in the fascinating and important private cellar situated only a few metres away from the restaurant. It can be visited on prior request and is also a private wine shop, where clients can choose a bottle to drink at the restaurant or perhaps buy as an important and unique gift to take home. Live jazz music every evening makes dining by candlelight here even more enjoyable. The Ocafè confectioner’s shop, with its laboratory and cocktail bar, stands right next door to the restaurant. Two splendid suites with a view are available on the floor above. The restaurant is open non-stop daily: the kitchen stays open until midnight, the pizzeria until 1am and the cocktail bar until 2am.
