You will find Duccio Magni’s enthusiasm inviting as he explains the traditional Tuscan menu, which changes seasonally and is well presented. The pasta dishes are freshly made daily, for example, the potato gnocchi, the fettuccine and the pumpkin ravioli with amaretti. The tasty main dishes include guinea-fowl with grapes, herb roasted pork, roasted leg of lamb and veal, ossobuco, and lighter dishes such as beef and tuna tartare. You must also try the grilled meats especially the tender Florentine steak. And to finish, the chef Alessandro makes his own desserts.
In the adjacent wine bar Frescobaldino, you may enjoy a glass of wine paired with Italian “tapas,” composed of typical regional cheeses, salamis and fresh salads.
