Trattoria Vittoria

Trattoria Vittoria This recently restyled restaurant has always been famous for its fish in a city that for many years was lacking in good restaurants of this type. Francesco Baglioni and Giovanni Bardolini have catering in their blood and the cuisine they propose is based on perfectly cooked and beautifully prepared classical fish dishes. Great care is taken to ensure that all the fish is really fresh and the menu also offers less classical but more creative platters as well. Starters can range from a rich mixed seafood dish, truffle flavoured shrimps, a loaf of fried shrimps and sea bass capriccio with fresh basil and tomato, to raw scampi with citrus fruits. Some of the delicious first courses include lobster risotto, sea food soup and macaroni in scampi and shrimp sauce. The choice of second courses offers, among others, a seafood stew, fresh stewed gurnard and a mixed platter of shellfish Catalan style. The restaurant naturally offers an excellent choice of white wines.
